Peperzaken

For over one and a half year I was the Lead Designer and Art Director at Peperzaken.

Peperzaken is a full service app development agency and strategic partner in the mobile business. From concepting, design and UI/UX to development, testing, implementation and trainings. Peperzaken is an awardwinning companie and is best known for his work for: NU.nl, de Regionale Omroepen, LG, Albelli (Vistaprint), NAM and Shell.

Branding

Peperzaken wanted to create their own design department inside the company.

At first, Peperzaken' main focussed was on app- and webdevelopment and specialized in creating apps for the B2E market. After multiple years they want to extend their business with an in-house design department. This I were I came in and became the Lead Designer for all app projects and Art Director for the Peperzaken brand.

My role on branding was to bring the visual identity to the next level that matches their professional and hands-on mentality. All communications from the company had to be exactly the same and breath the companies mindset. The products I made vary from webdesign, presentations, outside advertising, business cards and other print materials.

Webdesign

As a mobile company your website has to be mobile orientated.

The design of the Peperzaken website is mobile first, which means I first designed the website for mobile so that it looks and works perfect on a smartphone. After that we expanded it to the desktop and tablet versions. The UI of the site had to be very clear and tell the visitor a story.

Peperzaken Hangout

A unique hangout for employees and people who are interested in working at Peperzaken.

We decided that the focus of the corporate website had to be on clients and that there must be a special environment which focusses on the people side. With the Peperzaken Hangout we created a special place for the employees to share their stories and non-related work stuff. By splitting the client and team side, communicating is a lot easier and more direct to the  audience.
