Albelli

During my time at Peperzaken, Albelli, part of VistaPrint and market leader in the field of photo books, asked us to develop an iPad app to create your own photo book. We developed an app that is just as fun as making a photo book on the computer, but more easy and faster.

You can directly upload photos from your computer, but also from various social media channels. When you've imported all the photos you can get to work. Choose your layout, drag the photos and add all desired filters and effects to create a beautiful book. You can save different books in the app and create your own photo-book-library. Start creating on your iPad while traveling home from a vacation and finish your book at home on a desktop.

My role was to lead the design process and design the complete app. Together with the Usabillity Engineer we created a prototype which we used to execute several field tests and to gather feedback. With this feedback we developed the application.

The application will be available in 12 countries in Europe under three different names.
