Ashtraynutz

Late 2013, I finished the artwork for Ashtraynutz, a band from Haarlem (NL). This young six-piece jazz / hip-hop band played as support act on the Chef Special tour and was chosen as Soul & Jazz Talent on Radio 6.

The catchy jazzy songs are characterized by the raw and timeless voice of Joel Gaerthé worn by the funky music. Think of a mix between Tom Waits and Jamie Lidell. With the release of the New EP, I designed the artwork. This includes an exclusive red vinyl and the artwork for the single 'City Life'. To promote the new EP and tour I designed the promotional materials which are in line with the EP's artwork.
